We are a professional Christian Organization with large hectares of land and seek the services of an experienced Site Engineer.

 

Responsibilities:

• To perform over site function on construction activities on site and monitor main contractors all through the project cycle
• Acting as the main technical adviser on a construction site for main contractor, subcontractors, crafts people and other operatives;
• Checking plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy of calculations and ensure proper implementation;
• Ensuring all materials used and work performed are as per specifications;
• Liaising with any consultants, sub-contractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project
• Liaising with the local authority to ensure compliance with local construction regulations and by-laws;
• Day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site labor force and the work of the main contractors and any subcontractors;
• Overseeing quality control, health and safety matters on site;
• Preparing reports as required;
• Resolving any unexpected technical difficulties.
• Any other duties that may arise.

Educational Requirements and Skills:

• Must have 3 years experience in a Construction or Civil company.
• Must have at least 3 years on-Site experience
• Must have worked on multipurpose Buildings
• Bsc Building, HND/B- Eng Civil.
• Any certification or designation requirements.
• Professional associations will be an added advantage
• Strong personality
• Construction execution experience
• An extra-ordinary eye for details on site.
