Reports To; Financial Analyst

Job Description;
•Prepare, analyze and report weekly, monthly, quarterly gross margin analysis by product group by customer.
•Assist in month-end closing, prepare journal entries as necessary, and analyse inventory evaluation, inventory roll forward.
•Analyse cost accounting data and assist with cycle count/physical inventories.
•Compare actual cost to estimate and analyse variances.
•Analyzes and monitors raw material inventory.
•Prepare detailed account analysis and reconcile sakes, cost and inventory liability accounts by product group by customer.
•Review and analyze inventory and margin reports, conduct research and perform analytic studies in regards to cost analyses and profitability.
•Work in special projects as required.
•Update standard cost in bill materials.
•Review standard and actual cost for inaccuracies.
•Conduct ongoing process constraint analyses.
•Analyze capital budgeting requests.
Qualifications, Requirements and Skills;
•Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
•2 years+ of accounting experiences required.
•Prior experience in retail is needed.
•ICAN Required
•Minimum of 2.2 and above
•Experience with accounting software and database management techniques and tools.
•Proficient in MS office tools.
•Strong analytics required, statistical software knowledge is a plus.
•Ability to collaborate with a multi-department team.
•Also helpful to have experience manipulating large databases.
•Excellent team relation skills
•Advanced excel skills, preferably for the use of bulk content upload processes
•A track record of efficient data collection, Inventory acuteness, and apt analysis.
•Experience with using accounting software and database Management Systems
•Strong communications skills
•Strong problem solving skills and conflict resolution.
