Cashier

We need the services of a Cashier to join our dynamic team.

Responsibilities:
•Responsible for taking orders and requests from customers. They are also responsible for replacing orders if requested by customers.
•Responsible for gathering a customers’ order in a tray, this includes the main meal, side dishes, drinks, condiments and utensils or ensure that the complete order along with condiments and take away utensils are packed in a nylon bag for the customer to take away.
•Responsible for their own cash drawer and are liable for any losses.
•Responsible for treating the customers with the best customer service practices. He or she is also responsible in entertaining a customer’s comments or complaints regarding the food and services. If there are complaints, the cashier is responsible for bringing it up to her supervisor or the manager for better resolution.
•Responsible for performing roles assigned by the supervisor or store manager such as doing inventory and performing some duties in work stations in the kitchen.
•Responsible in cleaning up assigned areas of the store during opening and closing time.
•Ensure their display counters, display fridges etc. Are always fully stocked and that the products on display comply with our standards
•Required to assist with keeping the lobby area clear and the tables available for customers (currently being done by a lobby assistant)
•Required to assist the manager with monitoring the product quality, product display times (certain products can only be kept in the hot cupboard/display counter for a certain period of time)
•Ensure that all items sold are machined in the point of sale system.
•Must always keep complete a stock register/production template of all the stock received form the stores/kitchen to ensure that the stock received matches the stock sold.
•Must also do inspection of the customer conveniences to ensure that they are clean and in a good state of repair for our patrons
•Will be required to assist with the preparation of meals, preparing raw material for later usage during off peak periods in the outlet.
•Can be asked to do marketing/promotions/deliveries in the outlet vicinity.
Qualifications and Requirements:
•Minimum of OND from any tertiary institution
•At least 2 – 3 years’ experience in a similar role
•Must be able to communicate effectively with a good command of appropriate language
•Good physical presentation and high level of personal hygiene
•Must be very coordinated and be able to be hands on
•Must be computer literate
•Both male and female are eligible to apply
