Responsibilities:

• Assist in verifying the existence of the company’s assets and ensuring that assets are adequately safeguarded against loss.
• Carry out a review of stock records and reconcile discrepancies
• Assist in assessing the level of compliance with the company policies and procedures
• Facilitate the conduct of quarterly/yearly stock taken
• Assist in preparing monthly reports as required by management
• Review of cash transaction /balances
• Assist in evaluating the adequacy & reliability of information available for management decision.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• HND or B.Sc in Accounting with at least P.E. 1 certification of ICAN or equivalent in ACCA
• Minimum 1 year experience
• Strong analytical and accounting skills
• Ability to work under pressure and time constraints with little or no supervision
• Flair for writing in a precise and concise manner, and proper documentation
